Blogger-Law defined

Bloggers - oft regarded as a unruly mob of uncontrollable journalist-wannabees - are a group that has risen in size and stature, to the point where major vendors are crediting them as 'press' at trade shows and conferences, policitcal groups are giving them point-positions at political events, and, yes, they are also getting sued for their activities.

The amount of case law regarding blogging is increasing slowly and methodocially, and this gives rise to how best to proect oneself when you are blogging.

So Aviva's Directory, which discusses '12 Important US Laws Every Blogger Needs to Know' seems like a timely addition to the 'required reading' list.

This hands over a lot of useful information, legal guidelines and 'what to do to protect yourself' when blogging. It comes across as frank and direct. Anyone blogging, or thinking of blogging, should take a read
